Default Download Prime streams onto laptop?

OK, not in UK. Don't have tablet with me.

Normally on Android/iOS Amazon prime allows you to download selected content for offline viewing.

This is great if I remembered to take my tablet.

So what I have available is a iPhone and a win10 laptop

I'd rather not watch video on a phone when I have a UHD laptop to watch it on. So what I would like to do is either download onto the laptop, which Amazon tries to block, or stream from the phone to the laptop. I tried the latter using a airplay/mirroring emulator, and that works fine...except with Amazon video.

There has to be a way, Shirley?

Playon should tackle that.

Cheers, it appears to want money off me (even for a 7day trial - AOL style ). Will give it a whizz if all else fails though (assuming it works).

Plan B is to try a iOS or Android emulator to run Amazon Video....downloading some at the moment to try...bit slow on a 6Mb WiMax through a UK VPN connection

Partly why I want offline viewing.

I paid for it and it’s £30 I think for a lifetime. It’s not much for the ease and I have saved quite a few things from Netflix

Yeah It looks ok, but I doubt I'd use it after I get back home.

Unless I start storing films instead of streaming, hmmm Need another NAS first

I am not sure if it is what you are after but if you install Realplayer (free) it comes with Realplayer Downloader as standard. This allows you to download streams onto the computer.

That's a possibility, probably a good alternative to savefromnet (which I inadvertently used to DL from YouTube ), which contains adware and tracking malware.

Anyhoo I've now hit my download limit on Prine video...didn't know Amazon had download limits! lol

Let the binge watching begin! Luckily that storm you lot are having will have blown past by the time I start bobbing around in the Bay of Biscay!

Go for illegal downloads, so much easier, you're paying for it anyway

Bluestacks would have been my suggestion too, its ok but its pretty hungry on services/resources running in the background when its not in use.

Lol it did occur to me I could have got the torrents quicker and easier.

I mean I have paid for it. But because I'm using the wrong operating system in a portable device (it's a tablet PC) they block downloads to it. Then to add insult they block the country forcing me to go through my VPN server at home.

Bluestack seems to work fine, did have to enable hardware virtualisation which helped alot. It is a i7 with 8 gig and a SSD, so it should cope. May suck the battery, but haven't noticed anything yet.

Oh well, that lot was a waste of effort; my overnight ferry got cancelled.

Still the pleasant bit is instead of being sat watch videos, I'm in a nice tapas bar in Burgos leaching off some random WiFi.

Bad news is the rest of the time from tomorrow onwards that would have been spent watching videos will now be spent driving through France. I don't like France.

You can install and run kodi straight off the pc.

Or failing that use leapdroid and install prime there, plenty of ways around it.

I know it's late but still.
