I like Inbox from Google. Kind of fun for an email client.

Take in your Android based device and show him, simple. Otherwise it could be that you're in an area better suited to a particular aerial configuration.

I can show them the two devices , each with its own ( same ) network sim
But cunningly the store possess no mobile network signal

yep.
Took it to genius , who told me its s*****d , no apparent reason .
And because I took it to them initially a few days after 1 year warranty ran out ( there were know issues with the network at the time) , I get nothing
So turns out I WAS right all along
Apple are indeed a shabby overpriced fashion statement

There's obviously something slightly loose inside , in times gone by it would be possible to take it apart like did with old Sony Ericsson
But that's not how it works anymore , he said they'd just swap it out , if was in warranty

Why are iPhones so unreliable?
https://discussions.apple.com/message/29963491#29963491
Thought my problems maybe something do with gps - at home it has me permanently and specifically 1/2 mile away. Boat trip France 20 mile off

Umm hate to break it to you but iPhones are considered the most reliable software and hardware available. You should buy a Samsung, it'll give you something new to moan about and I won't give a ****.

I'm not shelling out on new contract or phone until I finish this sim only deal which I took out in desperation since I couldn't believe a 600 quid iPhone would be faulty
By then of course I'll probably have no customers left, so could only afford 100 quid Android

Sell the iPhone, one of the really great things about Apple products are their resale value. Not only is my totally reliable 3 year old iPhone 6+ a better performer than most Android devices it's worth more.

That would be ideal , but the genius said it was a write off effectively - I don't get away with selling iffy stuff generally
With wifi calling at home and somewhere with a STRONG 4g sig its fine , everywhere else its dodgy . And clearly it cant triangulate satellites

Seems strange that your iPhone has been deemed a write off and yet Apple will replace a 2011 MacBook with a new one due to a recognised issue. Odd eh!

If it is as you say then Apple will replace it up to six years after purchase. You should do less moaning on here and more at Apple.
