Finally yes ,im going to Dual boot the bugger!

What version im using http://www.linuxiso.org

I really want SuSe but icant get it from there

I would go RedHat. Seems to be more and more becoming the industry standard.

Question

Any benfits to using Linux then ? Never really considered it before. Any good for audio stuff ?

Major benefits have to be open source code, and its far more reliable than MS (IMHO).

In my line of work I am seeing more and more big Oracle setups with the backend databases on Primepower Solaris servers and applications servers running Linux, not MS.

Whats it like at freeing memory up ? Windows seems be be a bit slow freeing it back up, Linux any better ?
