Don't know that much about this problem, but maybe when the on-board grafix died, it took out something else........
Not much help, sorry, but best of luck

After my onboard graphics (8Mb) died recently, I fitted a new PCI 32Mb Nvidia card and all was well for a while, but now any video clips I try to watch are very notchy and the stream stops and starts sometimes stopping for several seconds, sound is OK but quickly goes out of sync.
What can I try to correct this??, I have set primary graphics to PCI in the bios, and I reset all of the video card settings to default, as I sad video was OK to begin with but sudenly it ground to a halt.
The card is a TNT Riva model 64 (maybe pro) with the very latest drivers installed, the PC is a 450 P3 with 256Mb RAM running Win2k, I guess it could actually be a Windoze problem rather than the graphics setup

Edited cos I realised that I had posted wrong info.
