Default Apple Mac - Microsoft Office 11 help

My son has a Apple iMac and want to get Microsoft office 11 for it.
I've looked apron eBay and it's about £20 around the websites its about £65 and in shops around £100

Why is it so cheep on eBay and is it worth buying from then rather than online or in store.

I'm not wanting the latest thing that costs per month.

Help

So keep away from it and buy a genuine copy form PC world or Apple Store ?

I don't want to buy a subscription but is the new version worth the extra over to buy outright over the 2011 version ?
