Your quality of life must have improved exponentially with this modern gem.
That smug feeling watching the other mugs actually having to tap in a PIN number (germ ridden keypads, uuurrrrggghh.)
Money well spent, I say.

I find it all slightly distasteful the way this "New" system of payment is foisted upon us
Like we've no choice but to follow the lord god apple
Even plastered all over my banking site

I'm not sure what problem this is trying to solve over Contactless cards, other than for Apple to tie people in to yet another of their walled-garden services.
How is it MORE secure to wear a £300+ watch all day, over getting your card out of your wallet when you need it.

I've just set mine up and added my other Natwest card. When I present my phone to a contact less machine with my thumb on the home button, will it ask me which card to pay with? Sometimes I like to pay for certain things with the other card (one card is my private account, the other my joint account). Also I wish there was an option to rename the cards as it is hard to distinguish between the two. Maybe they'll bring this in at a later date?

Just found this on CNet. I'm surprised Apple don't have this explained on their site:
There are two ways to pay with Apple Pay at an NFC terminal. The first is to tap your phone to the terminal with your finger on the Touch ID button. Leaving your finger in place causes your default card to be used to process the payment.
The second method allows you to tap your phone to the terminal, without your finger on the Touch ID button, which brings up a list of the cards you've added to your Apple Pay account. You can then select the card you want to use for the transaction, place your finger on the Touch ID button and complete your purchase.

They do
"Pay with a different card on your iPhone:
Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader without placing your finger on Touch ID. Your iPhone will wake up, and you'll see your default card on your screen.
Tap your default card. From the list of cards, tap the one you want to use.
Place your finger on Touch ID and move your iPhone near the reader to complete the payment. "
Just whacked on my personal card but business one won't work, bugger

Never saw it in their FAQ. I wonder how long it'll be until you can use your phone at an ATM to withdraw cash and have a valid way of displaying your ID/age when buying alcohol etc? Now that would totally do away with a wallet!

It's not a problem as such but you can't get a credit card that replaces my iPhone and the less I carry the better.

There's quite a fundamental security flaw with Apple Pay and Watch. If someone swipes your watch off you quickly, it is possible for the thief or mugger to continue using your Apple pay to pay for things. There are vid on youtube demonstrating how easy it is to take advantage of this flaw, but of course you can disable Apple Pay immediately but then if you don't have your iPhone with you.........
