5er says they actualy do lol
apple never releases anything new idea wise, despite what jack will claim.
To give em their due they do tend to take an idea someone else has had that they have done a **** poor attempt at making userfriendly and make it actually work.

I agree that they do take existing technology and make it work, that's the beauty of producing the hardware and software. I disagree that they never have new ideas, only an idiot would think that, here's a good place to start looking http://www.patentlyapple.com/patentl.../archives.html
exactly what have they done that is their own idea?

I'm blind, you're the one that blindly states that Apple invented nothing when presented with a few thousand original ideas.
Tablet was definitely Star Trek, definitely.

Metal. It enables the operating system to talk directly to the hardware, it's what makes iOS and now OS X applications unbelievably fast, essentially cuts out an entire software layer.

Please stop being a *****. Do you think Apple is a person that invents things or is it employee's? Chris is an employee.
" Lattner, Chris (June 3, 2014). "Chris Lattner's Homepage". Chris Lattner. Retrieved June 3, 2014. I started work on the Swift Programming Language in July of 2010. I implemented much of the basic language structure, with only a few people knowing of its existence. A few other (amazing) people started contributing in earnest late in 2011, and it became a major focus for the Apple Developer Tools group in July 2013 [...] drawing ideas from Objective-C, Rust, Haskell, Ruby, Python, C#, CLU, and far too many others to list."

lol, you say im being a *****, but you can;t accept anything negative about apple. why can you never ever see beyond apple?
Personal insults because you can't come up with an actual answer?
So what your saying is lattner did nothing before 2005?
'In late 2000, Lattner joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a research assistant and M.Sc. student. While working with Vikram Adve, he designed and began the implementation of LLVM, an innovative infrastructure for optimizing compilers, which was the subject of his 2002 M.Sc. thesis. He completed a Ph.D. in 2005, researching new techniques for optimizing pointer-intensive programs and adding them to LLVM.
n 2005, Apple Inc. hired Lattner to begin work bringing LLVM to production quality for use in Apple products.'

Apple could perform alchemy - oh wait, they did - and you still make a fool of yourself trying to berate them, such a sad use of your time.
You should try Google, you're not the first fool to drink that cool aid, you know Google, invents nothing.
