Apple Radio will be free, iTunes Music is subscription and allows access to the entire iTunes catalogue, which is obviously extensive.

It's almost a no brainer for me, I already pay for iTunes Match and it's included with Music, or maybe not... not sure.

What's amazing is how much publicity is given to this company .

At least they've backed down from rooking their artists ,i suppose

I am sure all reputable music providers e.g. This new apple product or Spotify will all offer similar service.

I have to give credit to Apple, they are not shy in trying to pull the fast one i.e. not paying the artists for the first 3 months.....they must of had a good chuckle at that when someone first suggested it.

I don't think it's that outrageous, artists would still have earned more than from Spotify in the long run, but hey, it's now great for everyone, good work Apple.

Just heard on the radio "Apple Crumbled" LOL!

dpb, you are part of the problem, can't help commenting on anything Apple. You lap it up.

They clearly only capitulated when the most lucrative recording star threatened to leave.!
It's only about the money for apple !

If apple is going to stream its music library then its going to be a huge collection. I was tempted with spotify but the fact it will only log into one device at a time put me off as i was going to let my daughter use it as well but it keant we both couldnt listen at the same time.

iTunes Music? Are you *sure* about that, I thought it was Apple Music

It's still unclear as to how big the catalog will be though. Some think it's pretty much the entire catalog that already exists, which would be vast.

I don't stream music that often, so it's of limited interest to me, but it could be of interest to a lot of people.

On the beta I've seen that you can also make the music offline so no need to stream it . I'll go for the trial but I'll be interested to see when the new stuff gets put on to Apple music
