Default Recover deleted emails..

Anybody know if this is possible? its from a Sky email account. They have been deleted from the delete box.

I doubt it.

To do so would mean they are keeping copies of messages you are deleting not once, but twice.

Why would they invest in storing unwanted data?

Did you delete then direct from your sky account or on a phone? I'm with virgin and they keep all my emails so I have to login to my account and delete them from there.

Computers are not my thing, hence question.
Deleted them on laptop, theyre long gone.

As I said I can delete all my emails in outlook on my laptop or pc but they are still saved in my Virgin account. I usually have a clear out every year, have you checked you Sky account?

How are you connected to your mailbox? IMAP or POP3? The setting will be in your Outlook mail account.

If it's POP3 they are gone short of a disk recovery operation (lots of money if you can't do it yourself).

If it's IMAP they could still be on the server depending on how you have Outlook configured.

Checked my sky account, theyre not in deleted emails or trash. Its POP3.

Pop3, though - that would mean they where downloaded to the client, he may have had the " keep copies on the server" ticked, but would also have a local copy

POP is not a client/server protocol

try login to sky webmail they may still exist online, failing that ring Sky and ask they will have a retention policy prob, you can ask..
