What the **** is wrong with people, i know it's not just phones but get a grip people.
It's a phone, it's for phoning people. I'm just waiting for the day that people get them surgically implanted up their ****.
I would hazard a guess that most of the people using food banks are walking in with either a iPhone or some other smart phone in their pockets while getting some tins of beans.

Image over substance, being told we need them when frankly we don't. A bit like various niche cars FFS!

really good news tbh.
The only danger they've got is that they need ensure that their reliance isn't just on iOS devices imho.
The Macs are still a strong market for them.

Didn't the Android and Windows fanboys on here say Apple had had its day..... seemingly not with profits others can only dream about.
Nice one Apple!
They deserve it. My iMac I bought last year is the best piece of IT kit I have ever owned by quite some margin. It just lets me get on with my job all day every day.... Windows on the other hand

But how much tax do/will they pay on their staggering profits? Not a lot! The top 1% just got a bit more richer, and this corporation continues to get away with it. Hey, but at least you got great products.

Like most other companies - using the SYSTEM to not pay large taxes.
What makes Apple any different? Oh that's right, some people hate Apple.
(and no, I'm not an Apple-evangelist. Despite being an Apple-user for the last 25 years, there are certain aspects that frustrate the snot out of me)

Not sure why people feel the need to defend them, just because you like there products why does that then translate into being loyal.
But here you go, enjoy your products that come from a company that makes its profits this way http://www.theguardian.com/technolog...e-iphone-plant and make excuses for them if you wish. I don't blame people for buying products from companies that aren't responsible, let's face it, where would we get all our food and clothing from if we took that moral high ground but lets at least see them for what they are, money grabbers that exploit people's weaknesses.

What the **** are you on about, was just surprised how much money these companies make. I was then surprised for a second time when people started to say "well done".
We all use these companies but it doesn't make them honest.
p.s, I'd be really interested to know what you do Shaun, it's none of my business so won't expect a answer but i suspect it's some similar type of materialistic bullshìt, maybe finance.

...says the self confessed socialist, anti-capitalist, anti-globalist who speaks for the "other 99%" but congratulates the biggest and richest capitalist in the world via his beautiful iMac.

What's even more amazing about Apple (I think I've mentioned this before), is that they can fit all of their electronic products on a small coffee table. I appreciate there is more to it than that, in respect of services they get revenue from. Even though...... that's pretty impressive.

Nope, that's much better than mine.
I have the same sim card that I got when I was 15 and have only bought 1 new phone since. I got it from Asda about 5ish years ago for £10 and you can't even change the ring tone, spends most of it's life in the draw waiting to be charged.

Does it perhaps not illustrate how overpriced each item must be ..
