I'm trying to download something off of You Tube (a music clip for the gym actually) that's almost three hours long but struggling to find something to handle a file of this size, anyone know of something that could handle this?

What do you mean, can't handle the filesize? you just need a download manager addon (if you're using firefox) which will download the file from the likes of utube, which is illegal of course if the material is copyrighted. Something like this;

Did you tried there Keepvid?
I've used Keepvid or you can try download JDownloader,I would suggest JDownloader 2 which supports YouTube and many other sites

Where does everyone get the new movies from?
Don't want to mess about downloading just want a site to watch them on the iPad ......movie sites lads....movies , i know all the **** sites

Tried quite a few different ones but could not get any to download something that was 300MB.

Eventually found this one which did it.

I quite often dl vids over 600mb using the one i posted, sounds like user error to me
