That is a good deal, I paid the full £30 for mine and I think that is a bargain!

Chromecast is a waste of cash, I got one and all it does is give e what my Xbox or android box an do.

I really thought they turned my tv into something special and its very unimpressive. It only cast a few apps mainly Plex,BBC iplayer and Netflix.

Agree with steve unless you have an old TV that it enhances then there pants.

I took mine away with me to Spain and couldn't find no any app to stream MKV to it from my iPad

Might have changed now but nothing as of August this year...

As I have neither an Xbox or an Android box it was £18 well spent. It also streams movies from my PC (including MKV's) onto the TV and anything shown on screen on my phone although it is a limited list of phones that can do that and they are all Droids, no iphones/pads.

And hey, it is much cheaper than an Xbox or Android box so still a bargain.

Mines arriving today. Bought for the kitchen 19" telly which is old school LCD with no bells and whistles. Means when I'm in there doing stuff I don't have to put up with the same old regurgitated Freeview cr4p!

Had a couple of instances where it has said "cannot play this video" but unplugging it and rebooting it fixed it both times.

Quality is pretty good.

No issues on my LG at all with frame rates or jerkiness, but my telly is 60/120hz capable so I wouldn't expect there to be.
