Skype not Opening

Anyone else had Skype problems?

Hit Skype button and it says it's signing in but all you get is some circle spinning around and it won't sign in.

Google gives some ideas but most of the suggestions are double dutch to me.

Anyone have any answers?

get the latest version from their site or choose Help > update within the program.

they dropped a few old versions

Have a look at this

I bet you have v6.13 or older, so all you need to do is update to a newer version of Skype.

Had to update mine last week and get the latest version, although it just popped up with download latest version on my mac and wouldn't let me do anything else with it until I did.
