Question Unable to delete "Favourites". NOT Straightforward!!

Hi;

I currently have a Windows based laptop; an IPad Air and 2 IPhones (4s and 5).
I have been trying (without success) to delete some unused "Favourites" form Internet Exploreron my laptop AND having initially failed, I have Googled all the normal "fixes" like finding where they are stored and deleting from there.

I now believe it may be an issue with cloud storage as in theory everything that happens on one device is "cloned" to the others.

Am I right , and if so , HOW DO I GET RID of these favourites which initially disappear and immediately re-appear. I have tried re-naming them but still no luck.
Help please!!

You could try turning off cloud sync for all but one of the devices, then delete the items on that one remaining device, make sure that sticks, then turn on cloud sync on the other devices and see if they then behave themselves.
