Download photo's from mac book pro ?

Forgive my ignorance but I have a new Mac book pro computer and being new to Apple and Osx Mavericks I don't know how to download photo's from my photo bucket account on to a new thread on the Members Gallery.
I would be grateful if someone could guide me through the process.

In Photobucket click on the IMG link next to a photo, it will automatically copy the link, then you can paste that in a thread.
