Strange one

Someone I know has posted a number of public posts on Facebook. Nothing sinister, by the way, I'm curious as to the technical reasons.

We're not "friends" on FB, nor am I blocked.

There are, however, a number of current public posts that don't show when I view this persons timeline, yet are visible to others (also not "friends")

Any ideas?

if you had been blocked by someone then you wouldn't see their posts

yes, if you go on facebook and go to post something it then gives you a drop down box as to whom can see your post,
friends, close friends, Public etc.

You can also set "friends of friends" under custom, that may explain what has happened

Thanks guys, but none of the above applies.

These are posts set to public, that can be seen from some not connected facebook accounts but not others.

I'm curious as to why the public posts are not public to all

FB "decides" which public posts to show others.

I never see posts from some people yet others pop up constantly. It's rather annoying.
