Hi,
Please excuse my ignorance but I'm very new to the impreza and very much on a steep learning curve.
Can you tell me what benefits there are to fitting this to an 03 plate wrx and do you need to replace anything else to coincide with this upgrade.

Hi stu not at all ask any question you wish..the Sti intercoolers are a much larger more efficient cooler than the wrx item the have a much better core design and larger surface area for maximum cooling for a tmic position in addition to this they have a re designed and much better flowing cast y piece inlet pipe from the turbo to aid the flow even more
Equipped with the larger under tray aswell this gives maximum air flow over the cooler the sti's do run a larger top scoop also to get more air in than the wrx we don't split these but a wrx item can be used still in small terms cooler charger air and much more efficient means more bang inside the engine developing more power and torq without increasing turbo lag like Fmic for instance
