So will this fit straight to my 2001 bugeye which has single pots currently? What are the disks and pads like?

yes the hubs and calipers will fit your car. Discs and pads and fine, minimal lip on discs, 50% left on pads

the brembos need a thicker handbrake shoe (190mm opposed to 170mm)

the brembos are 316mm, these are 290mm.
