Default Hard water washing

The run marks after washing the car are really hard to move because of the hard water, anybody know of a remedy?

Pat dry with a decent drying towel, or a good quick detailer should do the trick.

LOL, you should live here. The rain brings down so much iron oxide and dust that the car is instantly mucky again.

And drying it uses the iron oxide as a nice abrasive.......

Dry the car before it it has chance to leave water marks....Hydra-flexi-blade and synthetic chamois for me.

If its sunny...park it in the shade!

Spray on a decent detailer as you're drying is the easiest way.

My neighbour does this and doesn't rinse or dry the car.
The rain does it for him. His cars (black) are always shiny but I haven't inspected them from close to see if they have any swirls.

Would recommend immediately after your wash stage to use on the windows something like Auto Glym Hi-Tech Flexi Blade and then for the bodywork use a plush towel. This means that you will minimise any swirl marks left on the bodywork.

Once the car is dried all over, probably go over it with a quick detailer and a good micro fibre cloth
