Default Car Show quick detailing

Does anybody ever give their car a "dry" quick clean upon arrival at a show?

I'll be giving mine a good clean on the Saturday before NBO but I'm sure it'll pickup some dust and road crud en route so thought about bringing a few microfiber cloths and some quick detailer so she's looking her best.

I spend all year correcting and avoiding swirls, so wiping it down with a dry cloth seems a bit alien to me!

Anybody else do this sort of thing, or is it a bit too far on the **** side?

This is all weather forecast depending of course! If it's chucking it down, I probably won't care much after 100 miles of road grime!

If it's like this though, it would be a shame to have a grubby car on display!

I'll check out the demon shine stuff, cheers Tubby.

Looks nice!

I didn't think of taking some water and a bucket for a quick wash. It might be worth it just for any areas which get particularly soiled (arches, rear bumper, etc) and just QD the rest.
