Smile Alloy wheel protection

Just about to get my 'summer' set of Prodrive PFF7 alloys refurbished for MY07 RB320!

They're going to be base powder coated in black/anthracite with orange details on the spokes, then clear lacquer coated.

I'm just wondering what to protect them with & the options are;
-Collinite 845 wheel sealant.
-Poorboys wheel sealant wax.
-Rim Wax smart wax.

Looking to buy ASAP, as the wheels are going in tomorrow, so any advice welcome

Thanks in advance
Iggy

If you havnt bought them yet, I would look at:

FK1000p (you can use on body, wheels, exhaust)

Nanolex (Just wheels)

AngleWax Wheel Wax (Just wheels)

With an outsider of Carlack! (can be used on body and wheels)

Of the 3 listed, 2 are the same and the 845 dosn't last as long as FK1000p (well at least for me anyway)

But which ever you go for, seal and then just stick with shampoo to clean (as long as you clean your alloys at least once a month)

Personally I use a layer of Autoglym radiance wax polish & seal them with the poorboys wheel seal after. Seems to do a craking job on my new wheels on the hatch

For ease of application and pretty good wear, I'd recommend Autoglym Wheel Seal. Comes in a spray can.

I've used this for a while, it washes off after 3 or 4 washes but it's very easy to apply.

I've been using Poorboys wheel sealent since about 2006 I think. That's on 2 Impreza's (wheels both anthracite), and old school Merc (silver) and my 205 GTi(white wheels).

It's brilliant stuff and very well priced for how easy removing brake dust is. Particularly on my old 205's refurbed white wheels, which had a 283mm big brake conversion underneath the 15" Speedlines so lots of dust.

Have never seen any reason to use anything else

I thought that getting them powder coated often led to cracking issues.
