Default Polished Alloy Rims

My father is running these on his GT40 but road salt has made a real mess of a couple of them.

Whats best to polish up the alloy and seal/protect it?

cheers Andy

I would use the above to seal it, and just use a normal metal polish but taking extra care

never used it but Loads of people rate it, test a little area and give it a go.

A sexy car like that needs clean wheels

You could try a polishing mop on a drill around them with some polishing compound on, that may help. You could do a medium mop first followed by a finishing grade mop and compound then seal by hand.

I use my DA, Britemax twins, medium pad and lots of tape.

Seal with nanolex (or gtechniq etc)

Expect to take a few hours on each wheel.

(at least it takes me that long to get a really good finish.
