Billet Alloy? Has the anodise started to fade or bleach?

I would go with a pH neutral cleaner (things like Autosmart G101 are 13 pH so are strong and might damage the anodised finish) or even a shampoo and lots of time.

If they have started to fade/bleach then a very light polish (carlack, werkstatt, limeprime or similar) but be careful with pressure.

Might take some time but since your not paying for your time, just keep going till you have it the way you want.

A picture would help to see how bad (good) they are.
