Bought a 2nd hand set of mats (rubber sole, wool top)and looking to give them a good clean can you use normal carpet/upholstery cleaner from Tescos etc or are they much better options avaliable?

Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner is my default product for tasks like this: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...e-cleaner.html however it is a big bottle so you might prefer something smaller.

If so, I'd go with Briliant Citrus Cleaner: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...-briliant.html

In both cases, agitate with a Meguair's Interior Brush: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...ior-brush.html

I used a pressure washer to wet them, then applied a weak solution of Woolite applied with a mf. Rinsed with pressure washer and dried in the house, having raised the pile with a small brush. To say they came up as new is an understatement...
