Default New wax required to replace my Swisswax Samurai

Looking for something giving pretty much the same results.

I use the Samurai as a back up as I use Blackfire on my car but do use the Samurai on my Mum's and my misses cars when I do theres.

I also use the Samurai in my allows etc.

Swissvax is maybe a little pricey for what I use it for so a cheaper prodcut would be ideal.

Any ideas?

You must give the Dodo juice a go mate its brilliant , You can buy a small panel pot (tester) which will give you approx 6 to7 coats if used correctly maybe even more. Cost of this is about £6-£7 and if you want to try something more expensive they have the Super Natural range which I haven't tried but hear great reviews. You wont be disappointed.

+1 on Dodo Juice. I have used Purple Haze Pro and I used supernatural today on the RB and was very impressed with it.

Is the super Natural worth the extra money over the other Dodo wax range? currently using the light Fantastic at the mo and I'm very impressed

Tough to say really. Although I have a panel pot of each and when I buy a full tub I will be buying supernatural as it just seems to give the RB a deeper wetter shine. I would deffo say get a panel pot of it and give it a go.

For a black WRX - Blackfire everytime, topped with Midnight Sun wax.

See here: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...rotection.html under the heading: 'What is the best sealant or wax to use on dark metallic/pearlescent colours?'

Thanks for the reply guys. Any links for reading on the Dodo Juice?

John, I use the full Blackfire range on my car including the Midnight Sun wax with the spray sealent to finish it off..

I need a wax to replace the Swisswax (well it still has the old logo of Swissol its that old) as I tend to use this as a Wax for my wheels and use the current Swisswax as a wax for my misses car and other members of my familys cars.

I've been looking on the PB website yet again lol and was looking at the waxes.

If it helps my alloys are grey/silver and the cars I tend to do in my family are dark metalic . But may do the odd silver one etc.

I've heard a lot about the Poorboys waxes being great value for money. Just wondering can you combine the two waxes to give that mixed effect.

Steve,

If it's a wax for wheels, I'd go with Migliore's Wheel Seal: http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...eal-cat15.html

Designed specially for wheels, easy to apply, great results, strong durability and it smells great.

If it's easier, email me directly at enquiries@polishedbliss.co.uk

Steve,

The Blackfire will work just as well on the other cars. As John says a dedicated wheel wax would be better for the alloys. Poorboys Wheel Sealant is great for the price. I've not used the Migalore but if the guys at PB recommend it, it's going to be good stuff.

Wax wise I'm Dodo all the way. The one that I'd say to go for to use on all colours is Banana Armour. For darker colour cars and to warm silver up would be Purple Haze. If you want to spend a little more then you'll be hard pushed to beat Super Natural. It's an amazing wax.

However I'm a big fan of the Blackfire as well. Midnight sun will be fine to replace your Swissvax with and use on the other cars.

But if you want a wax that's easy on the pocket and does a cracking job then go for the Poorboys Natty's Wax. for around £12 a tub you'll be hard pushed to beat it at that price. Only downside for me is durability. That's where the Dodo comes into it's own.

I'll have a look in the shed as I may have a part used tub that I can post to you so you can give it a go.

At the last count I had the Dodo range, PB Natty's blue and white, Mothers liquid wax. Mothers top coat, PB QW+, PB sealant, Zymol Creme, Zymol Glasseur, Chemical Guys, Pete's 53 wax and probably a few more

Matt.

Dodo juice supernatural for me. Used Swissol/Swissvax for years. I'd not go back, great protection and beading. Harder in texture than Swissvax so seems to go even further. Add a coat of redmist on top of the wax. Seals it a treat

We now have Swissvax in stock so there's definitely something to suit from their range.

http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...-products.html

I'd also seriosuly consider Raceglaze 55 http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...series-55.html

See the pics here under the heading 'What is the best sealant or wax to use on solid dark colours?'

http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...rotection.html

A wax will sacrifce some flake pop but will make it very wet and glossy.
