In need of a clean as the rain and bad weather had made it a bit of a mess hear we go. Sorry for no photos when i started if i am honest i forgot. First the wheels were rinsed the sparyed with Gloss It Signature Wheel Gel than cleaned using Melody Wheel Back Brush which i have say is the best 4 quid i have ever spent the fronts cleaned using a detailing brush. The arches were sprayed with megs super degreaser and cleaned with a small brush. The car was then foamed using snow foam and left for 5 mins why i filled my buckets up.[IMG][/IMG]

Great work mate looks really
Did you use a machine polisher with the werkstat arclic or by hand? I only say this as I used it last year (by hand) and although I was pleased with the finish I think it would have been a LOT better when used with a machine

Nice work. Always good to see others shined up cars.
Makes a massive difference this time of year going from filthy to deep cleanse/protected. Makes the next clean a lot easier too.
Werkstatt fan myself - easy on, easy off, easy top up - cracking shine !!

I used by hand and have always been happy with finish i sometimes use poorboys black hole glaze after the prime strong stage as this gets a really great finish to.

Great work there mate. Where abouts are you based, as my car could do with a good detail.

Acrylic is recommended for hand application only.

The acrylic kit is in spray form so you just spray on and wipe off.

No it isn't if you check out PB web site it says ; can be used by hand or for BEST results use a dual action machine polisher

The prime is not in spray form! This is what should be used with a dual action polisher for better results. The Gloss is in spray form as you say wipe on wipe off (didn't Karate kid say that)

Nice mid-winter detail above; wish I could find the time to do mine, but Mrs Bliss is demanding much house decoration at the moment. Boo!

Just to clarify regarding the best application for Werkstat acrylic products. Both the Trigger and the Glos can only be applied by spraying on and buffing off, but Prime can be applied by hand or machine equally well. Full 'How To Use' text from the site for Prime Acrylic copied below...

Werkstat Prime Acrylic can be applied equally well by hand or dual action machine. For best results by hand, it should be applied to freshly clayed paint using a Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel, and these should be wiped in as firmly and evenly as possible to produce a film that should then be allowed to dry for up to 10 minutes. Once hazed over, this film should then be buffed off carefully using a Poorboy’s Super Thick & Plush Towel (if the film proves difficult to remove at first, lightly mist it with Werkstat Acrylic Glos and continue buffing). For best results using a dual action polisher, Werkstat Prime Acrylic should be applied to freshly clayed paint using a Lake Country 140 mm Glazing Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel, and these should be worked in thoroughly at around 3000-4000 orbits per minute (speed 3-4 on most dual action machine polishers) until only a thin film remains. After being allowed to haze over for up to 10 minutes, this film should then be buffed off carefully using a Poorboy’s Super Thick & Plush Towel (if the film proves difficult to remove at first, lightly mist it with Werkstat Acrylic Glos and continue buffing).

Full 3 inch mongoose system from turbo back and 5 inch tail pipe. I picked this as i didnt want to see the back box hanging down so the box is only a touch bigger than the pipe. I also have a dump valve from collins as well. In the summer i want to take the car up to around 400 bhp.
