Werkstatt acrylic kit... Prime, Trigger and Gloss. Fantastic on light coloured cars. Really brings out the flake on silver / metallic cars. Available from Polishd Bliss

Waxing is the easy bit, you will need to polish it first using "cutting compound" T-cut etc.Otherwise your puttin wax over oxidised,scratched/scuffed paintwork ALL of which cause dull paintwork. Wash it,clay it,polish it,wax it.Job done,a good job will take a full day.Depending on how bad it is it could take longer.Wait till the winter is over otherwise you can end up doing it again when the gritters have finished and the crap is gone from the road.

As has been posted, the secret to a really wet look finish is in the paint prep....a good wash/clay to remove defects...then sealed to protect
Think you will find that most sealants are better for bringing out the flake "pop" than waxes
For this reason the Jeffs Werkstatt Kit seems to really suit light coloured cars
Fireglaze is another option too as a LSP

I use a glaze, seal then wax method using Poorboys products - my paint is pretty good due to a recent machine polish and a part respray so I don't need to use products with much cut (yet).
Best advice is wash the car (two bucket ,method and a lambswool mit), dry then clay using a mild clay if you haven't used it much before, then polish the paint with the lightest cutting compond that will remove the swirls. I'd then use a polish/glaze seal then wax combination e.g Jeffs, Poorboys or Blackfire. You only really need to do this twice a year at most, in between just wash (2 bucket) dry (pat with microfibre) then top up wax coat monthly of when it stops beading.
Look at the PB guides, honestly you can't go far wrong!
