11Hr Detail - Results of Engine & Body
Just thought Id share, I detailed the engine bay and machine polished the car on Friday, was not looking forward to it as the n/s door and rear quarter had been repainted recently after attemped brake in and after the bodyshop had got trigger happy with polishing mop it was covered in swirls and holograms
But I was pleasantly surprised after only a couple of minutes with Menzerna 85RD 3.02 this was the result.
After this I went back over with 85RD Final Finish, Black Hole Glaze, Collinite Wax.
Engine Bay
Its a pain doing it for so long, my hat goes off to the professionals but its worth it at the end to stand back and see the results.

WOW! I am blown away with that very lush engine bay. I tip my hat of to you, that is a job well done.
I did think about setting up a valeting company, but the amount of effort and skill that you have to put in in all weather conditions is rather a lot.

Nice work. Although the bodywork is very good I'd say the engine bay turnaround is more of an impressive eye catcher.
How do you find the black hole ?
Was cleaning up my own engine bay yesterday, fiddly pain isn't it !!

Thanks Scooby_Mad, I'm with you. The effort is emense for a full time job, and Im sure unless you get somebody that is super keen and willing to pay it wouldn't be appreciated
I quite enjoyed doing the engine bay, with the right stuff its a quick job really.
First time Ive used the Black Hole, wanted a little help with the swirls as this was a rush detail. I think it has dulled some of the reflective qualities of the paint. Not sure how effective it really was either, Im so rubbish. Putting on and taking off was ridiculously easy though
