Something like that AG tar remover or autosmart tardis clean.
Spray it on a section at a time, leave to soak, then wipe away.
But if you are careful enough when you remove the bump strips (with the aid of a hair dryer) the glue pads should mostly come away in one go.

For ease of use I put a bottle of the AG tar remover into a spray bottle I had spare and sprayed it on the 205 one day when cleaning. I didn't bother washing the car again (tarred it after washing for some reason), just hosed with the Karcher and thoroughly clayed it before waxing afterwards.
Is good stuff, not the same level as the Tardis but it's just easier to get hold of for some reason

Dont rate the AG Tar Remover at all.....
Buy some Autosmart Tardis ( even go halves with a mate to drop costs ) will save you money in the long run as it is a QUALITY product...alternatively Bondauto sell a very good Tar Remover in 500ml bottles for about £4...and it will do a much better job than AG

I'll be honest as I haven't ever tried anything apart from the AG tar remover so can't comment. Agree though as it is very easy to get hold of from Halfords in comparison to other stuff. About £5 a bottle isn't it, unless they have an alternative.
Polished bliss do the Tardis but it will kill for postage I'd have thought

Please do not use Royal Mail to do this; Tardis is classed as Dangerous, and should be mailed in boxes showing appropriate chemical hazard symbols. May seem like overkill, but think of the Royal Mail staff if a leak occurs. Couriers will carry it no problem for you as long as its labelled properly.
