Default dash cleaning ....

always struggle to get a good finish, I use turtle wax nanotech and find it tends to leave the dash feeling sticky. Should I prep or clean the dash using something else first? what cloth is best to use? what do you guys find that works?

cheers
Iain

To start over properly, I would suggest an intial wipe down with Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner diluted 10:1 (waterroduct). This will fully remove all traces of grime and previous product residues, and leave all surfaces squeeky clean. I would then suggest dressing the surfaces with either Poorboys Natural Look Dressing or Werkstat Satin Prot; the former leaves a satin look and a coconut scent, while the latter leaves a factory look and no scent. Both are best put on using a Meguiars Microfibre Applicator Pad, and should be left to dry fully on their own for best results. More info about the products mentioned here...
