Which Clay Bar?...
Of all the clay bars on the PB website does anyone know which would be best for my car or are they all much the same... I have metallic silver paint which is in good order with almost no tar spotting or swirls but I'm buying some werkstat and want to clay it before putting on the base coat.
I'm guessing a mild one, but which one?

You could just go with the Megs quik (yes I think that's how it's spelt) kit?? It is a good sized bar if you're not planning on doing a few cars and gives you the lube spray along with - and think at an okay price as well.
I use Werkstatt on all my vehicles, except my black Scoob, and love it. You'll not be disappointed.

i find megs quik the best all rounder, its not too harsh but not too soft either.
i bought sonus green in bulk and find its rather gentle, youve got to keep claying longer to get the same results as megs.

I have the Megs mild (Blue colour), thought it was excellent, upgraded from the Meg's starter kit a while ago, done my Dad's new Saab over the weekend whole car covered in tree sap, came up a treat really pleased, as a lube I used Meg's Last Touch.

Megs quik clay if not done before then sonus green after that for me (if you look after your car well anyway),sonus green is only a fine clay in comparison to megs quick clay however they`re for different tasks-megs quick clay will remove contamination aswell as previous wax/sealant(even if only small amounts) and therefore obviously shine each time with it being more aggressive.
Sometimes however you can get contamination in your paint(without being bad)whilst the paint itselfs pretty good,so whilst you dont want to strip bk and build up the shine to where it were, you do want rid of the high spots embedded in your paint- finer clays will do this without causing you loads more work than needed building good depth/gloss bk up each time its used.
