Further coats of wax ?
Just finished off the car over last couple of days, ran out of time and was wondering.
I used Wet Diamond All Finish Protection as base, buffed off, then a coat of Blackfire Midnight wax (buffed off) but I ran out of time for any further coats of the wax and I've had to use the car for work since.
Can I wash the car and add another coat or two of the wax okay ?
Will it still have the exact same effect - shine and protection ?

I always add an additional layer of the Midnight Sun after every wash. Layering the wax up not only gives better protection but will give you a deeper and richer shine.
Do not apply the Wet Diamond over the wax though. As it is an acrylic sealant, the wax won't be able to evaporate as it would do naturally and it will start to have a mist effect.

Exactly as above; you can add as many coats of the wax as you like, just make sure you wash and dry first, and allow 24 hours between each coat. Keep going with the wax for the next 6-12 months, until the time comes to start over from scratch by decontaminating with a tar remover and clay bar.

Thanks for the reply's.
One more question on this, does that Blackfire Deep Gloss spray really just "smarten" it up then after waxing ? If I use this can I still add wax ?? Think I know the answer but want to be sure !

You can layer the wax on top of the spray. The only rule is that you do not apply the Wet Diamond over the wax.
To be honest... I'm not a fan of the spray. I used it once but I much prefer just layering the wax.

Aye, the spray is designed to boost the finish, rather than add a full further coat of protection, and the wax can be applied over the top of the spray and vice versa. However, as the good gentleman above points out, some folk prefer to simply add a fresh coat of wax instead...
