Default Removing polish residue

What is the best method, mainly round the washer jets, plastic trim etc

The edge of a microfibre towel, wetted with a shot of quick detailer, usually does the trick nicely. A meguiars triple duty detailing brush can also come in handy, as can cotton buds or swabs in some cases.

Will Jeffs quick spray be OK? I am planning to give it the full acyrlic kit and could tackle the residue with the last step.

Yes, ideal! You will also find that the Prime will easily remove any polish residue if you gently rub the affected areas with the edge of a towel.
