bird poo stains
Hi everyone just found out that pledge classic beauty furniture polish is great for getting those really stubborn poo stains out plus it smells great too.

ha - I found out that a re-spray works well too... of course only after the pooh has eaten away the paintwork whilst on holiday...

Neither furniture polish or clay is recommended for this type of task. Etching is a sub-surface defect, i.e. in the paint, so claying won't correct it (clay is for removing bonded surface contaminants). I have no clue how a furniture polish could correct etching, other than if it contains certain ingredients that are filling/masking the defects. In fact, I'm utterly lost as to why you would have tried this anyway?! Certainly there is no way furniture polish could cut automotive paint enough to remove etching damage...
