Interior plastic cleaning and removing scratches
I have some minor light scratches and some kind of residue/film on the centre console plastic on my56 hawkeye.
I normally use Autoglym products for cleaning the interior.
may be a cutting compound like T-cut would remove the scratches?
any suggestions on a good product to use to clean it and one for removing light scratches?

The best interior cleaner for general use is Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner, which can be diluted down to different strengths for different tasks. See here for details...
Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner - Meguiars Car Care and Detailing Products
Scratches in hard glossy interior plastics can be improved and sometimes fully removed using Menzerna Final Polish II, applied using a Lake Country German CCS Polishing Pad. However, scratches in softer interior plastics and vinyls are far more challenging, and often difficult to improve. Meguiars do a plastic polish, but results seem to be variable in terms of success. We've yet to find a decent reliable solution ourselves. Hope that helps guide you.
