Default clay advice

so far ive always used the megs kit that halfrauds sells as its the mildest but have come across some stubborn marks from bird crap/tar and was wondering if theres a stronger one i can use without machine polishing afterwards?
and whats the best course of polish for flatted bianca white peugeot paint?
cheers

Take a look at A world for detailers... for some top advice my friend. There are stickies for which polish to use on each colour. Good luck. Bob

If you have etching marks in the paint from birds crap and other forms of bonded contaminants then no amount of claying will remove it, as it will be a sub-surface defect (claying only removes contaminants sitting proud of the paint, not anything etched into the paint surface). So, polishing should do the trick on both fronts, and seeing as Peugeot paint is usually intermediate in terms of hardness (and thus very similar to Subaru paint), please see the sticky guide to safe polishing at the top of this section for the recommended approach to follow (either by hand or machine).
