Default New Paint

OK, no really car care,,, in fact not really a car but could really do with your advice / comments..... but bare with me !!!

I have atrack bike, Im painting and laquering the fairings. ie paint, rub down, laquer rub down... now.. whats the best rubbing compound to use on a) enw paint b) by hand.

And just to make things easier,,,, its gloss black !! lol

Depending on the level of cut required, either...

Heavy Cut - Menzerna Intensive Polish - Menzerna Car Care and Detailing Products

Light Cut - Menzerna Final Polish II - Menzerna Car Care and Detailing Products

using these pads...

Lake Country German CCS Pads - Lake Country Car Care and Detailing Products

The above polishes both feature a very fragile aluminium oxide abrasive that breaks down easily with light pressure. This makes them easy to use by hand and far less likely to leave polishing marks in the paint. Most other polishes we stock feature far harder abrasives that really need to be worked using a machine polisher...
