Hello,

Bonnet has been sprayed on the edges and im wanting to go back to nothing but carbon.

Can it be done? will it effect the top coat on the carbon?

Any help welcome

Post some pics up mate. Is this just overspray? Also is the carbon open or lacquered? If open you may have some problems. If lacquered you can treat it like any other pannel.

If just overspray, wash down, dry and then have a go with a clay bar. this should sort it out. follow up with a polish up and then some wax or sealant.

If the colour's been sprayed and laquered in then a good body shop should be able to rub it down and then re lacquer it for you.

Will take a bit of work either way, but you should be able to get to your goal.

That's going to be a good body shop that needs to do that fella. Bit more than a detailer could do.

I'd say at least a couple of hundred.

Probably more than the bonnet is worth to change.
