advice needed on removing double sided pads covered in spray paint on body work
basically i removed the splash guards on my classic to find they have been sprayed whilst on the car so now ive got the double sided pads on the rear bumper & rear corner splitters but they've got a layer of spray over the top, ive tried picking & some parts i can remove the top layer of spray to get down to the sticky pad but other parts it seems to of took a slight layer off the bumper paint off with it, any ideas anyone please? ive got autoglym tar remover which i dabbed abit on & wiped but didnt seem to do alot?

Gawd, that doesn't look good, and if it's been sprayed on the car you have to ask whether it was sprayed properly and baked... because if it wasn't, you may find that a stronger tar & glue removers like Autosmart Tardis may partially dissolve the paint, making the situation worse. I have to say, I think the best way forward is to speak to a decent bodyshop in your local area before doing anything else - they may be able to recommend a safe way to proceed. If what I can see below came into us, I would be referring you on to our bodyshop immediately.
