Default DUCT TAPE MARKS ON DOOR

hi. just yesterday the clips that hold the window broke and so the window has fallen down into the door. i had to cover it temporarily with black bin liners and duct tape. i just removed it today and i've got sticky residue marks on the paintwork. what can i use to get rid of these marks without damaging the paintwork. cheers

if you want to kill your paint by all means use white spirit / petrol. AS tardis is the least likely to harm your paint and the option i'd use and recommend. wd40 will take some rubbing. so while not damaging your paint with the product you're likely to mark it while rubbing the marks off.

if you don't want to shell out £20 for a gallon of tardis auto glym tar and glue remover available from halfords etc for about £6 will do it.

Autosmart Tardis here...

Autosmart Tardis - Autosmart Car Care and Detailing Products

or pop to Halfords for the smaller bottle of Autoglym Tar & Glue Remover if you don't want a lot of product to keep for other uses.
