Envy Valeting
Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to Tim from Envy and fellow detailer Paul who spent the day in the freezing cold correcting the paintwork and detailing my car. They have done a fantastic job and the car looks absolutely amazing now.
I'll post some pics up when I get a chance but thanks guys and I can highly recommend Envy Valeting to anyone wanting their car detailed

Thanks very much Simon for the work, and hospitality. Please pass on our thanks to Chris too, agree with Paul about TreVoR too.
Here is what happened today:
Thanks to Paul today for agreeing to help with this. The shorter daylight hours make it next to impossible to correct a car in a day without a heated, well lit place to work. Thanks Paul.
This is a joint effort, and we have NEVER been so cold EVER at work.
Some befores:
Wheels hit with Espuma Revolution, Envy brushes and EZ detail, the soaked with Espuma Activo to start the wash process
Rinsed and attacked with Envy SSF
Rinsed again and washed with TBM, Z sponge and AS Duet, rinsed and dried.
Clayed with Dodo Juice gentle grey
Paint measured ready to correct. All reading as expected except the passenger side which had healthy readings shall we say!
The nature of the beast:
1st attempt at the healthy side with SW CF-pro
Followed up with Megs '83 as the CF pro was not hard enough hitting
Then refined
Thats as good as it got on the healthy side as there was a lot of OP and it got no better with further attempts with Presta light cutting creme or FCP.
The rest of the car had better luck/results with '83 (which today was a JOY to use and worked really really well for us) and Presta light cutting creme. The odd panel had "sticky" paint and we used a combination of Presta and the CF-pro. Most marks were removed apart from the odd rds.
Some more shots
Once the machining was done the car was dusted, and paint cleansed with Dodo Juice LPL (by hand) then followed with a lovingly applied coat of Swissvax Saphir.
Tyres were dressed, exhaust polished, glass cleaned etc etc, then the wax was buffed off.
Enjoy the afters:
Thanks to Simon for the work, Chris for the location and car chat, and Paul for the company and help
Best wishes
Tim

Cheers Rich, can just imagine you, Clark and Ange looking outside from the unit at the snow through quadruple glazed glass with the halogens burning the backs of your necks etc etc.
Envy is a terrible thing Pun intended of course....

lol. been there done that and deceided that i'm more of a fair weather detailer until i get a unit . plus that means that i get to play golf on a saturday again. well, unless i'm helping the old man out at work tiling floors and walls.
although that said i have my work cut out on my winter project 1988 325i convertible in this cracking deep purple. looks almost black until the light hits it. it's swirly as hell with a fair few rids. but it is beading so at least it has some protection. I'm feeling an engine out jobbie to give it a propper clean in time for the shows next year. now that the scoobs gone i need another advert.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm based near Whiteley on the south coast but have a wide work radius! Paul is Horndean, south coast too.
I do mainly detailing and paint correction. Valeting jobs I try to steer clear of as I feel I know I can do better work and feel I have to hold back between the 2 styles of work (if that makes sense?!)
Feel free to have a look at Envy Professional Vehicle Valeting Swissvax trained vehicle valeting cleaning polishing waxing and detailing - cars, bikes, vans, all forms of transport - Swissvax trained specialists. - Envy Professional Valeting - Swissvax trained professional car, and if you have any questions at all dont hesitate to email or give me a bell.
Best wishes
Tim
