Default Cleaning Windscreen on the Inside

What do people use to clean the inside of their windscreens? As when I've done it before, it seems to make it mist up like hell on cold mornings/evenings.....and then I have to sit there for ages for it to demist

What I do is to get some car shampoo and a small sponge and wash in inside of the screen (and all other windows) and then dry it with a waffle weave towel. After, I will then sue my favorite AG product, Glass Polish and polish the screen with a megs applicator, allow to dry/cure and buff off with a clean MF cloth.

Does that stop the misting up in the cold? Or reduce it at least.

It mists up when theres residue on the glass or when it's dirty.
I use windolene which works a treat then follow it up with some old newspaper to remove any left over residue.

I swear by Autoglym glass polish Its the only stuff thats ever worked for me. As long as you dont touch the screen with your hands and wait for it demist it lasts ages too. Apply it with a microfibre towel then dry with kitchen roll.

Cool, will have to give AG Glass Polish a go then I think, as I know that's not too expensive.

I use rain-x anti-fog on the inside windows after cleaning with glass cleaner and that works. Not cheap but can be bought from Halfrauds.

Whether I am doing it wrong, but I find it very smeary. So I just stick with what I know and trust - AG Glass Polish.

If your windows have not been cleaned then they are bound to mist up easier. So clean them with soap and water then apply the AG GP. Another reason is that the car has a damp spot and the moister is evaporating on to the screen creating condensation. Just a thought and not to worry you.

never had any issues, very good for the outside. yep it is expensive but you can also use it on alloys metal and paint so its a good value if you need a product for any of these uses as well

Our current interior glass product of choice is Eimann Fabrik Clear Vision II; a really nice liquid cleaner that cleans well, dries streak free and doesn't appear to encourage misting up.
