I seem to have water stains on my rear windows, what would be a good way to remove them.
Also when waxing (the final stage) is this always done by hand?
cheers
Dave
clay bar them
In my experience waxes are always applied by hand. sometimes even rubbed in with your bare hands rather than an applicator. acrylic lsp can sometimes be applied by machine.
I use Werkstaat Prime strong on mine and it works a blooming treat.
Failing that, claybar or some water and vinegar.
Wiped over with some kitchen towel. Look at the windows at various angles to check you have rid of all the spots.
as for waxing, pretty much all by hand. You may also caress the bodywork and make soothing noises as you apply it

wooden tub sir ???
actually talking about dodo, lime prime is great for getting off water marks on windows as well
I dont know if you've found anything better but i think the Autoglym glass polish is excellent, cleans all the much and warter marks off. I also wipe the wiper blades with the cloth too and have found that when doing 40mph or more Intermitant on the wipers is not needed as the water just beads away. A mate now uses it on his Bike helmet visor after seeing the car
