whats best to removed the adhesive that is stuck on my rear skirts after removing the splash guards, trim is unpainted plastic. thanks.

ideally tar and glue remover. something like autoglym t&g available from most motor factors or a better product is autosmart tardis which is available from polished bliss. you can use white spirit but will take longer than t&g remover.

just be sure to give the trim a really good clean down afterwards.

Also, sometimes a little heat helps; a hair dryer or heat gun set to cool can help no end when trying to loosen such residues.
