Any advice on pressure washers?
OK, after p*ssing me off immensely, my 25 quid special is in the bin ( can you actually dispose of PWs in the bin? ) .
I want a new one with,
Any ideas?
Oh yeah, in an ideal it won't cost a blinking fortune and will last for more 6 washes And I'd prefer to go and physically buy it as opposed to ordering online, don't get me started on AMnotcapableofmakingasimplefeckingdeliveryTRAK or DHL
I want a new one with,
- Reels for inlet and HP hoses
- The ability to use a foam lance
- A foam lance, am prepared to buy separately
- No fancy pants attachments for patios etc
- Detergent bottle
- A hose that won't decide to leap up the side of my car
- Connectors that won't randomly pop off
Any ideas?

Mine!
had it 6months so far and no problems with it.
excellent bit of kit all stores neatly inside the unit as well, 9m hose on a drum and 2 detergent tanks
and i got it from screwfix so you can go and pick it up at your local outlet as well like i did.

Like it, would like it more if it were a bit cheaper! We do have a Screwfix locally...I say local, it's about 20 miles but round here, it's local and an excuse to take the ST out

Went through the same turmoil mate, opted for the
HD Foam Lance from Autobrite (the one with the black
adjuster on the top) and the 399 Karcher :

Just ordered the KB6060 from here, 16305020 Karcher KB6060 Pressure Washer with T200 Patio Cleaner - Robert Dyas - karcher KB6060 £50 cheaper than screwfix with a free patio cleaner (which I'm not fussed about and may go on ebay!)
My local Screwfix don't stock the washer so I'd have been at the mercy of delivery companies anyway, fingers crossed it gets here now!
PS, the binmen took my old washer away!

so whats the crack with pressure washers? do you need to have a high water pressure in your area?
without wanting to hijack this thread, i have considered investing in a pressure washer as my hose method isnt the most sophisicated, and id like to be able to foam the car too sometimes.

Have to disagree, the only thing you need to know is: KRANZLE
I bought one off a group buy on Detailing World and it is pure quality. You pay for what you get. I've had plenty of Karcher's in the past but the Kranzle is in a different league.

Well, it arrived yesterday, despite asking for a Monday or Friday delivery only! I'm really pleased with it :luxhello
I've washed my van, pre rinsed it with some snow foam from tank 1 (not very foamy but didn't expect it to be, still waiting for my lance). Then blasted it down, very good pressure, nice wide spray pattern and a good amount of water. Then I used the brush with some detergent stuff from tank 2 Then rinsed it down again.
Then I did some dirt blasting with the dirt blaster, very effective! Then I had a go with the T200 fingy, I can imagine this would be good on smooth, flat surfaces but my yard has uneven flagstones so it was a bit pants...it was free though
All in all, very happy!
