Me + Black Saxo + new G220 + Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic
Now this is only the second car (my mothers) I've tried my new G220 on. I've been having some difficulty breaking down the RD3.02; perhaps due to the temperature, perhaps due to inexperience. With this in mind I decided to stick with the FA106 with this.
As you can see, the paint was very average - although for a black W plate car, not as bad as you might expect.
From this shot you should be able to see for yourself the part of the bonnet I'd already done, compared to the unpolished majority.
Random shot of a FA106 polished door.
Once I'd done all that, I treated the black plastic trim, and then used the Jeff's Acrylic kit on it - with Acrylic Prime first, and then the Jet, using the Glos as and when needed.
Here's the results:
Not bad results from an "old" Saxo I think.

Looks good to me! The RD3.02 problem is probably due to not working it hard enough for long enough; temperature rarely has a negative effect on polish behaviour when working with a dual action machine. On the G220 you will often need a good few minutes on speed 5 with moderate pressure to get it to turn clear, indicating that it has broken down properly.
