None!

Never wash your car with a sponge, use a lambs wool wash mit.

what's right with them more like!

what happens with a sponge is the dirt particles that are on the surface of the paint get trapped on the leading edge of the sponge. then when you wash in circles the dirt causes fine scratches the the paint. this is swirling.

use a good lambswoold washmitt for the top half of the car and then another or a microfibre one for the lower half and wheel arches.

no rubbing in circles either. straight lines and rinse the mitt out in clean water before dipping back into your shampoo bucket.

that's a quick run down. there's a bit more to it than that.

Never ever use a sponge As previously quoted, does more harm than good.
Once you use a lambswool mitt, you`ll never look back. I assure you.

Also it will keep your hand warm in winter.
