Default Two Bucket Method

Did the two bucket method for the first time on friday and first time for taking pictures, in view my scooby section.

was surprised how dirty the water in the second bucket was, i i used to wash the car agin with that!!

Have started useing zimol products which are ace, am thinking about getting a clay bar kit, does it really make much of a differance? Have to justify spending the time doing it while i'm trying to do my house up!!

thanks for all the great info in this section makes me want to keep the car sparkling all the time, but it hard when it's your daily driver!

Claybar will remove all the airborne contaminants from your paintwork, such as industrial fallout and tree sap/ bird droppings. Once properly clayed you will find your paintwork feels like glass. Once you've got a good starting block the rest is far easier. Of all the products I've used I think the claybar surprised me the most. My car was well polished but the stuff that came off the fist time I used the claybar amazed me. Bob

yup as above worth the time spent and you only need to clay once maybe twice a year at most to get the best results, polish the car after claying and before waxing. this will remove any micro marring that the claying process may / will have left.
