Default WRX Sticker left a mark!

Hi all,

I recently de-baged the WRX, as I couldn't stand that great big white sticky label, and it has actually left a faint impression of itself on the paint work. It isn't noticable standing directly behind the car, but at certain angles you can make it out quite clearly!

Is there a way to get rid of this once and for all? Was going to try t-cut but wanted to ask the question first!

Also on a similar note, I removed the wind deflectors and the sticky adhesive has also left a mark and a little residue behind which is really proving stubborn!

Any advice on how to get rid of these marks would be so very much appreciated!

It didn't on mine.
I left it inthe end, because you could only see it if you really looked for it.

Where the wind deflectors were try using Autoglym glue/tar remover to get rid of the sticky residue. Wipe on/off with stockingette type cloth (no point ruining something good!)
Regarding the "WRX" shape left I'd use something mildly abrasive along the lines of (if shopping at Halfords) Autoglym Super resin polish or paint renovator.
If I were shopping online look at Menzerna final finish or intensive polish..

Clay wont necessarily remove the WRX imprint you can see, ideally machine polishing this panel would be the way to get rid of it completely. As for the residue, then agreed the Autoglym Glue & Tar remover is worth seeking out.
