Default Which foam gun, without a pressure washer?

Ideally I'd like a pesticide style pump spray to foam the car (what with the life long hosepipe bans), but I gather they wouldn't produce enough foam.

So if I buy a foam gun, which should I get for use with a hosepipe, and not a pressure washer? The PB site sells the Gilmour, which it recommends if you don't have a pressure washer - but PB also suggested the Karcher was better if your water pressure is poor (which I assume means you're using a hosepipe):

Can the Karcher be used without a pressure washer, and if so, has anyone got a link to what I'd need?
Or would I be better off with the Gilmour?

Thanks

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "Can the Karcher be used without a pressure washer" but I've got low water pressure and use the Gilmour all the time without any foaming problems. It's a great bit of kit

The karcher nozzle fits into the karcher trigger which in turn fits into a karcher pressure washer, hence you cant do it. I am guessing that your only option is to use the Gilmour. More expensive though.

Ah, I'm with it. So to use the Karcher gun, you have to have the Karcher pressure washer. It does indeed sound like the Gimour is my only option. Thanks

I would like something that doesn't require even a hosepipe. but if that is not possible, I'll get something that does require a hosepipe, but doesn't require a pressure washer.

Thanks Richard. That would certainly help my bank balance. Have you got any pictures of the results it produces? EDIT - ignore that. Here's scoobyverysoon's pic:
